Barcelona reach agreement with Al Ahly talent Hamza Abdelkarim

Catalan club Barcelona have reached a preliminary agreement with 18-year-old striker Hamza Abdelkarim, a graduate of Egypt’s Al Ahly. The Blaugrana are now continuing talks directly with the Egyptian club to finalize the transfer officially.
Abdelkarim reportedly caught scouts’ attention with his confident performances for Egypt’s youth national team, his mobility, and his ability to adapt quickly. The young forward is also effective in team play: he picks the right positions, adds pace, and keeps the opponent’s defense under constant pressure.
His potential stood out in particular at last November’s U-17 World Cup: he featured in 4 matches, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist. Earlier reports also suggested that Hamza himself had expressed interest in a possible move.
All eyes are now on how the club-to-club agreement will be concluded. If negotiations are successful, Barcelona could add another young, promising striker to their project — and fans are eager to see how the new name steps onto the big stage.
