Before the new season of the Uzbekistan Super League, unexpected news has appeared: the draw ceremony will be held in January, not in February, as usual.
The PFL's official letter to the clubs states that the draw ceremony will take place on January 28th in the conference hall of the Bunyodkor Stadium. All club managers, as well as head coaches who did not attend the international training camp, were invited to the event.
The draw will also take place: a meeting is planned with the participation of club officials on a number of pressing issues. That is, getting on the path of both discussion and calendar in one evening is a "two-time" mood for the player.
According to the PFL, the draw ceremony will begin at 7:00 PM.
Previously, it was announced that the 2026 Super League season would begin at the end of February due to the national team's May training camp. So, the organizers began to rigorously adjust the calendar beforehand - so that questions like "which species and when?" wouldn't multiply.
Also, at the beginning of the season, some teams will not be able to play their first home games. The reason is that repair work is underway at the stadiums. In particular, the teams "Nasaf," "Sogdiana," "Navbahor," OKMK, and "Mash'al" will be forced to start their first matches outside their home fields, in other arenas.
In short, there's both intrigue and action before the new season. Now, on the evening of January 28th, depending on the draw, a true "season mood" will begin for the fans.
