Spanish journalist Inigo Taberna commented on the near-term future of Russian midfielder Arsen Zakharyan. This was reported by euro-football.ru. reports .
According to the expert, he does not believe Zakharyan will leave during the winter transfer window. Taberna cited the player’s frequent injuries as the main reason: in such cases, clubs usually do not rush to offer a contract.
Earlier, Spanish media reported that Zakharyan is not part of head coach Pellegrino Matarazzo’s long-term plans.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been playing for Real Sociedad since the summer of 2023. Before that, he played for Dynamo Moscow. This season, Zakharyan has featured in 16 matches across all competitions and scored 1 goal.
