Responding to Guardiola's praise from Arteta: Arsenal needs trophies

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has responded to Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola's claims that the London club is currently the strongest team in the world. Although the Spanish coach expressed his appreciation for such attention and warm thoughts, he also didn't forget to take a cold and realistic view of the situation.
Arteta emphasized that hearing positive feedback about the team, especially from a reputable specialist like Guardiola, is pleasant for any coach and any club. Because this means that the system you have established, the work, and the daily work process are being overseen by someone.
However, the Arsenal manager also included these words among the excessively high-flown assessments. In his opinion, only good play or a consistent result is not enough to truly justify the title of "the best team in the world" - such a career is achieved with trophies. Arteta openly stated: the team hasn't yet won many trophies and fully proven itself.
At the same time, Arteta specifically noted that Arsenal's path will not stop. According to him, the Londoners strive to perform at their best every day, improving further in every training session and every game. The main goal is one: not to look back, not to stop, and to fight until the end.
In short, Arteta gladly accepted Guardiola's praise, but did not get carried away. For Arsenal, the decisive criteria will no longer be words, but results and trophies.
