Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola has announced the list of players who will not be able to assist the team in the upcoming Champions League match against Galatasaray. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the specialist, Marc Guehi, Antoine Semenyo, and Rodri will be unable to take the field in this match. Additionally, Nico Gonzalez, Savio, and John Stones are also not fully prepared yet. Guardiola emphasized that the list of injuries and absences is quite long.
Guardiola reminded that City is not yet in the top eight of the tournament standings and expressed hope that the support of the fans will provide the necessary boost for the team. He stated that the situation is not entirely in Manchester City's hands, but the only way to continue the fight for the top eight is to win their match.
The final round of the Champions League group stage match between Manchester City and Galatasaray will take place on January 28. The match will start at 01:00 (Tashkent time).
