Messi could come to Galatasaray: only to play in home games...

Another interesting rumor circulates around the Argentinian legend Lionel Messi: it seems he could return to Europe for a short time, or more precisely, join Galatasaray. In Turkish media, this is being referred to not as a "simple transfer," but as a special plan - a project considered for a short period until the end of the season.
According to sources, the 38-year-old star can only agree to this offer with one condition: he only wants to play in home matches in Istanbul, and he doesn't want to play away games. It is said that if this scenario works, Messi could participate in approximately 12 home matches.
The reason for this condition is also roughly clear: old age, the hardships of travel, fatigue, and the risk of injury. The Turkish press attributes this to the desire to save oneself before the 2026 World Cup - "I'll play at home, I'll save my body."
But there is one "but" - too big. Inter Miami has officially announced that Messi has extended his contract until 2028. So, even if these claims turn out to be true, for now it might not be a "full departure," but at most it might be in the form of a lease/short agreement. There is no official confirmation yet - so for fans, this message is "interesting, but cautious."
Still, in football, sometimes even the most foolish scenarios turn into reality. If Messi really appears in Istanbul only in home games - this journey from MLS to the Turkish field will be written as one of the most "serial-like" pages in football history.
