Shomurodov's price has increased: New value of our foreign players in Turkey

A real "volcano" of Uzbek football has awakened on the green fields of Turkey. The influential Transfermarkt portal has reviewed the transfer prices of Super League players. On the eve of the Uzbekistan national team's first participation in the world championship, the price of our foreign players is rising, which greatly pleases the fans. Zamin.uz analyzed the updated values of our representatives.
This season, Uzbek fans' attention is mainly focused on Istanbul. Our two stars, shining in the ranks of "Istanbul Bashakshehir," have become the team's most valuable assets.
Eldor Shomurodov: The Path to Success from Rome to Istanbul
30-year-old Eldor Shomurodov became a real revelation of the Turkish championship. After an unsuccessful period at Roma, our forward began his renaissance at Bashakshehir:
- Scoring skills: 17 goals and 4 assists in 28 appearances across all competitions.
- "Golden Boot" contender: Eldor is currently among the leaders in the Super League top scorers race.
- Price increase: Eldor, who was valued at 5 million euros in December, reached 7 million euros in three months.
Abbosbek Fayzullayev: Reliable Stability
22-year-old Abbosbek Fayzullayev, along with Shomurodov, is also the team's most valuable player (€7 million). Although adapting at the beginning of the season was a bit difficult, his talent and potential have not diminished.
Most Valuable Uzbek Football Players (Top-3)
- Abdukodir Husanov (Manchester City) - €35 million
- Eldor Shomurodov (Istanbul Bashakshehir) - €7 million.
- Abbosbek Fayzullayev (Istanbul Bashakshehir) - €7 million.
Our other representatives and regional competition
- Husniddin Alikulov: Due to the fact that the defender of "Rizespor" does not have playing time due to an injury, his price remained unchanged - 1.5 million euros.
- King of Central Asia: Abdukodir Khusanov remains the most valuable player in the region. His €35 million worth is unattainable for his close pursuers.
- Former Soviet rivalry: Among the former Soviet players playing in Turkey, only Trabzonspor's Arseniy Batagov (11 million euros) is ahead of our compatriots.
Interesting fact: Eldor and Abbasbek's total value (14 million euros) is significantly higher than that of other Bashakshehir legionnaires Jerome Opoku and Amin Kharit.
Such growth in the transfer market of Uzbek foreign players inspires great hopes ahead of our national team's participation in the World Cup.
In your opinion, will Eldor Shomurodov win the "Golden Boot" by the end of the season? Will Fayzullayev's price exceed the 10 million mark by the end of the year?
