After the regular time ended in a draw, the game went to extra time. In the additional minutes, goals from Chelsea players Alejandro Garnacho and Juan Pedro decided the final result in their favor.
According to statistics, Chelsea had clear dominance in ball possession, recording 69 percent. Also, the Londoners made 1000 accurate passes, keeping full control of the game. For Wrexham, George Dobson received a red card in the 90+3rd minute and left the field early. This defeat ended the hosts' participation in the tournament.
