Dembele commented on his future

Ousmane Dembele has tried to calm growing speculation about his future at "Paris Saint-Germain" after reports linked him with a possible move to "Manchester City". The France international said he sees no reason not to extend his stay, but made clear that contract talks are being handled by his agent and the club. Reports Goal.com.
The latest rumors followed reports that Dembele’s representative, Moussa Sissoko, was seen in Madrid with "Manchester City" sporting director Hugo Viana. That meeting quickly fueled talk of interest from Pep Guardiola’s side, although transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano later said the encounter was not related to negotiations for the winger.

Speaking to reporters, Dembele said he has stayed out of contract discussions throughout his career. He repeated that the decision is not directly in his hands, while stressing that his focus remains on football as uncertainty continues around his long-term future in Paris.
Dembele is under contract until 2028, and talks over a fresh deal are reportedly continuing. However, "PSG" president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has already made clear that the club will stick to its wage structure, which could make negotiations more complicated if the player seeks terms that match his standing in world football.

Even so, Dembele remains an important figure in Luis Enrique’s plans. With "PSG" also pushing ahead on extensions for other key names, the club will hope to reach an agreement soon and shut down fresh interest from across Europe.
