UEFA will discuss the use of VAR in the summer

UEFA will organize a special meeting this summer with Europe's most prestigious leagues to discuss how effectively the video verification system (VAR) is being used. This was reported by Sky Sports.

At the meeting, UEFA intends to implement a unified, simplified approach across the continent. This ensures that VAR is used only to correct "clear and obvious errors" and strengthens fairness in football.

The event will be hosted by Roberto Rosetti, head of the UEFA Referees Department, and will take place after the World Cup. Representatives of top leagues such as the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Liga 1 are expected to participate in the meeting.

Rosetti stated last month that he doesn't want to resort to "microscopic interference" in football. UEFA believes that VAR, when used correctly, remains an integral part of football, but its application is currently causing debate and debate among fans.

The purpose of the meeting is to introduce VAR as an effective and transparent system, ensure fairness in football, and reduce the number of disputes.
