The management of "Barcelona" is considering whether to extend Robert Lewandowski’s contract for one more season, according to insider Fabrizio Romano. The Catalan club is reportedly open to keeping the Polish striker beyond his current deal, but no final decision has been made yet.
Lewandowski, who is 37, has also not settled his future and is said to be reviewing several possible options. Those include staying at "Barcelona", joining another major European club, moving to the Saudi Pro League, or accepting an offer from MLS.
Reports suggest that "Barcelona" have given the forward the freedom to make the final choice about the next step in his career. That approach gives Lewandowski room to assess both sporting and financial factors before deciding where he wants to play next season.
