The head coach of the Uzbekistan national team, Fabio Cannavaro, is committed to further strengthening the work process around the team. The Italian specialist officially announced that he has hired several experienced and reliable personnel for his headquarters.
Cannavaro noted that the team is now concentrated at a time when they are striving for big goals. "We are moving forward with a smile, work, and enthusiasm. We will host the FIFA Series in Tashkent, and this means that the dream of our first World Cup is getting closer and closer," he wrote on social media.
The specialist also announced adding three new members to the coaching staff. In particular, his brother Paolo Cannavaro is working as an assistant coach, and he has been with the team since his training camp in Dubai. Physiotherapist Simone Cijillo and Professor Enrico Castellacci, who had extensive experience in the medical field and participated in the 2006 World Championship, were also involved in the headquarters.
These changes are expected to breathe new life into the White Wolves' preparation process. In particular, special attention to physical condition and recovery processes can further improve the overall quality of the team's game.
As a reminder, the Uzbekistan national team will play against Gabon on March 27th. This match is important not only from the point of view of the result, but also from the point of view of demonstrating the newly forming style of the team.
