Officials at "Real Madrid" are reportedly working on a possible move for "Manchester City" midfielder Rodri. According to The Touchline, citing journalist Matteo Moretto, the Spanish giants believe they need a player with the same qualities as the 29-year-old Spain international.
The report says "Manchester City" is aware of the situation. The club would not block the transfer if Rodri himself decides that he wants to leave. That detail could become important if interest from Madrid turns into formal negotiations.
Rodri has previously said in an interview that a transfer to "Real Madrid" could not be ruled out completely. His comments have only added to speculation about his future, especially as Madrid continues to look for an experienced and reliable midfielder.
