The head coach of the Portugal national team, Roberto Martínez, spoke about the forward of “Al-Nassr” and the global football star Cristiano Ronaldo, explaining in detail his significance and activity on the field.

But Cristiano’s mind has not made such a decision yet — neither at 40 nor at 41 years old. A top footballer is not talent, it is mentality and consistency. He is no longer the old winger at Manchester United or Real, but a precise and effective ‘nine’ in the penalty area. We depend on his actions: he creates open space and scores goals.”
Additionally, Martínez acknowledges Ronaldo’s reliable performances in the national team over the last three years: “30 matches — 25 goals, this is a result achieved only through work. Evaluating the current condition, I see an amazing combination of talent, experience, and attitude. Decisions are made not in the office, but on the field.”
According to Martínez, Ronaldo is still the main driving force for the national team, and his experience and intellectual abilities have an important influence on the team.
