New appointments have been made at the “Andijan” club

A regular meeting was held at the headquarters of the “Andijan” football club with the participation of the club’s management and players. During the meeting, organizational issues on the agenda were discussed, and changes were made in the coaching staff.
According to the club’s press service, local specialist Islam Akhmedov has been appointed as the interim head coach. Prior to this, he had been working within the team’s coaching staff.
Islam Akhmedov was born on July 8, 1986, and is a product of Andijan football. As a player, he represented “UzDongJu”, Samarkand’s “Dinamo”, “Sogdiana”, and of course the “Andijan” team.
In his coaching career, he has successfully worked for many years at the Andijan football academy.
In addition, Sergey Arslanov will assist Islam Akhmedov in the coaching staff. He was born on November 6, 1986, and as a player featured for clubs such as “Mashal”, “Shurtan”, and “UzDongJu”.
Arslanov also studied at the academies of “Pakhtakor”, “Kuban” (Russia), and “Dynamo” (Kyiv, Ukraine). As a coach, he has managed the Kyrgyz club “Dordoi” and later worked in teams such as “Surxon”, “Neftchi”, and “Sogdiana” in our country.
Now he will serve as the senior coach of the “Andijan” club.
In addition, goalkeeper coach Bekzod Turgunov, who previously worked with the U-21 team, has joined the main staff.
