The final day of the World Youth Championships in WT taekwondo has commenced at the Yakkakurash sports complex in the Olympic Village.
Competing in the girls' -63 kg weight category, Mohidil O‘ktamjonova reached the decisive stage of the competition and faced Sofia Frassica from Italy in the final. In a fierce and uncompromising battle, our compatriot emerged victorious, adding another gold medal to Uzbekistan's tally at the World Championships.
With this, the national team concluded the competition on a high note. According to the final results, the Uzbekistan team earned a total of 6 medals: 2 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze.
In short, the youth showed true character on the tatami — a promising signal for the future.
