Mohidil O‘ktamova – World Champion in WT Taekwondo
Mohidil Oktamjonova has become a world champion in WT taekwondo after winning the gold medal in the girls' -63 kg category. In a hard-fought final held at the "Olympic Village" complex, she defeated Italy's Sofia Frassica to secure the victory. Overall, the Uzbekistan youth team concluded the championship on a high note, earning a total of six medals: two gold, two silver, and two bronze.
The final day of the World Youth Championships in WT taekwondo has commenced at the Yakkakurash sports complex in the Olympic Village.
Competing in the girls' -63 kg weight category, Mohidil O‘ktamjonova reached the decisive stage of the competition and faced Sofia Frassica from Italy in the final. In a fierce and uncompromising battle, our compatriot emerged victorious, adding another gold medal to Uzbekistan's tally at the World Championships.
With this, the national team concluded the competition on a high note. According to the final results, the Uzbekistan team earned a total of 6 medals: 2 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze.
In short, the youth showed true character on the tatami — a promising signal for the future.
