Guardiola speaks on his future successor at City

"Manchester City" head coach Pep Guardiola commented on the club's future and who might succeed him. His words have sparked significant interest in the football community.

Guardiola emphasized that he had noticed young coach Vincent Kompany several years ago. He stated that he sensed Kompany's potential during one of the matches against "Burnley":

"Even then, I had this feeling – this guy will one day manage a top club," the specialist noted.

However, Guardiola believes Kompany is still in the developmental stage of his coaching career. He is continuing to gain experience, having only worked two seasons at "Bayern":

"But he is still young, he has only worked two seasons at Bayern, so he will continue his career there for a while longer," Guardiola said.

The Spanish coach also stated that if Kompany and "Bayern" part ways in the future, there is a high probability he will return to England:

"I have a feeling that if one day Kompany and Bayern part ways, he will want to return to England," Guardiola said.

Guardiola highly praised his football philosophy and leadership qualities, emphasizing that "Manchester City" will always remain in Kompany's heart. He did not rule out the possibility that the Belgian coach might return to Manchester one day:

"I am sure that Manchester City will always be in his heart, and I hope that one day he will return to this club." — Guardiola said.

Currently, Vincent Kompany manages "Bayern", achieving stable results with the team. His current contract with the German club runs until 2029.
