Initially viewed as a backup at the start of the season, our 22-year-old compatriot has become a true leader of the defensive line through hard work and skill. His ability to perform reliably both as a center-back and a right-back has been a major discovery for the coaching staff. In Guardiola's tactical setup, Husanov is emerging as the most important figure in his position.
A step towards historic success and trophies
Abduqodir has already secured his first prestigious trophy in England — the EFL Cup. But this is just the beginning. The official Manchester City website has announced a list of 25 nominees for the Etihad Player of the Season award. Excitingly, Husanov is among them!
