Robert Lewandowski officially announces his departure from Barcelona

Robert Lewandowski has announced his departure from Barcelona after a four-year tenure. The Polish striker officially confirmed via his Instagram page that his contract will expire during the summer transfer window and he will bid farewell to the club. This was reported by Goal.com .
"After four years of hard work and challenges, it is time to move forward. I am leaving having fulfilled my mission: four seasons and three championship titles," the footballer wrote. He also emphasized that Catalonia has become a second home for him and he will never forget the fans' affection.
Lewandowski thanked club president Joan Laporta for giving him the opportunity to experience the most memorable period of his career. The striker moved to Barcelona from Bayern Munich in 2022. In the Catalan squad, he made 191 appearances, scoring 119 goals and providing 24 assists.
Although Barcelona offered the 37-year-old a contract extension, the new terms included a salary reduction and reduced playing time. Currently, Saudi Arabian clubs, the Chicago Fire in the USA, and Juventus in Italy are showing serious interest in the experienced striker.
