Erling Haaland warns his Premier League rivals

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has issued a stern warning to other Premier League teams. After the Norwegian star saw the title race slip away to Arsenal, he emphasized that this painful defeat should serve as extra motivation for next season. This is reported by Goal.com .

Manchester City's title challenge officially ended following a draw against Bournemouth. The match at Vitality Stadium ended in a 1-1 scoreline, mathematically confirming Arsenal as champions with one matchday remaining in the 2025-26 season. Although Erling Haaland sparked hope with a late goal, Pep Guardiola's men could not find a winner.

Not hiding his frustration after the match, Erling Haaland stated that the team should not settle for second place. "We need to be angry, we need to have fire inside us, because this result is not enough for us. We will do everything in our power to win the league next season," the striker told City Studios.

Erling Haaland also admitted that it was difficult to recover after the FA Cup final against Chelsea. According to him, the emotional pressure at Wembley Stadium and in finals took its toll during the Bournemouth game. Nevertheless, he urged not to use this as an excuse.

Manchester City concludes this season as winners of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup. Erling Haaland added that while both trophies are important, the club's main goal will always remain the Premier League.
