Uli Hoeneß harshly criticizes Bayern and Stuttgart fans

Following Bayern's 3-0 victory in the DFB-Pokal final, honorary president Uli Hoeneß was furious with the fans' behavior. During the match, supporters of both teams staged joint protests against the German Football Association (DFB). In an interview with Sky, Hoeneß stated: “What the fans from both sides did today is simply a disgrace. They completely ruined the game.” This is reported by Goal.com reports .
At the start of the second half, a massive banner featuring a crossed-out DFB logo was passed from one stand to another at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. Fans filled the stadium with chants against the organization, holding banners reading: “Rivals united: DFB, get out!” The main reason for the protest was the excessive ticket prices for the DFB-Pokal final (ranging from €45 to €195).
During the protests, fans ignited numerous pyrotechnic devices, resulting in thick smoke covering the pitch. Referee Sven Jablonski was forced to pause the game for a while. “There were moments in the second half where I couldn't see anything. If this is how fans imagine celebrating, I am against it,” said Hoeneß.
The honorary president of Bayern called on clubs, the DFB, and politicians to take strict measures against such “impertinence.” Regarding the action on the pitch, the Munich side opened the scoring in the 55th minute thanks to a goal by Harry Kane. Although Stuttgart put up serious resistance in the first half, the champions took control after the break and secured a convincing victory.
