Joao Neves criticizes Arsenal's tactics after PSG victory

Paris Saint-Germain solidified their status as the absolute kings of European football after a hard-fought victory over Arsenal in the Champions League final. Following this historic success, PSG midfielder Joao Neves sharply criticized the London club's style of play. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
After the French giants became Champions League winners for the second consecutive time, Neves expressed his thoughts openly. Following a grueling match that went to a penalty shootout, the Portuguese player emphasized that only one team wanted to play attacking football on the pitch. The 21-year-old talent described the performance of Mikel Arteta's side over 120 minutes as lacking ambition.
"Emotions are running high. I am a European champion for the second time. I am happy not just because of the victory, but because I am with such teammates and management. Coming here was the best decision of my life. Today we deserved to win because only PSG wanted to play football," Neves said in an interview with M6.
This victory was a major milestone for PSG, as the team successfully defended the most prestigious trophy in club football. After a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time, the Parisians prevailed 4-3 in the penalty shootout. Arsenal missed the opportunity to win their first-ever European Cup.
Neves noted that the path to the second title was much harder than the first. According to him, defending the title as reigning champions placed a huge physical and mental burden on the team. During the interview, club sporting advisor Luis Campos unexpectedly appeared and hugged the player, once again highlighting the excellent atmosphere within the squad.
