
Less than two weeks after confirming gaming-related issues in Windows 11, Microsoft has released a patch that fixes graphics and sound problems on affected PCs. Now, users can safely update their OS without fear of BSOD or other major issues.
What was the problem?
- Enabling Auto HDR caused freezes or incorrect color rendering in games on some computers.
- Some games stopped responding or crashed completely.
Solution:
- KB5050094 update resolves these issues.
- Windows 11 Home and Pro 22H2/23H2 users can now upgrade to version 24H2.
- The update must be installed manually – it can be found in the optional updates menu or downloaded from Microsoft’s official website.
