Yandex transforms Alisa into a smart AI assistant

Yandex has updated its search engine, turning Alisa into a full AI assistant, according to finance.mail.ru.

Users can now search for offers, compare them, and complete services directly within the search interface. The first fully integrated service is OSAGO car insurance.

The Yandex mobile app homepage now features buttons for “Apartments,” “Finance,” and “Products.” The search algorithms analyze queries to recommend relevant items and financial services.

In the “Finance” section, users can compare offers from banks and insurance providers, filtering credit cards by grace period and installment plans, and savings accounts by interest rates and online availability.

The “Apartments” section aggregates listings from various sites for rentals and sales, in both new buildings and secondary markets, presented as cards for easy comparison.
