Apple started sending verification codes via Telegram

Apple is now sending verification codes to users via the Telegram messenger, Rozetked reported, citing the editorial office of iPhones.ru. For this, a special bot named @VerificationCodes has been launched.

Through this service, companies and app developers can send one-time verification codes to users via Telegram. Payment is carried out through the Fragment platform, the price for one code is $0.01 (about 125 soums).

It is not yet clear how this system works. Journalists managed to receive a message from the bot only once when logging into an Apple account, but were unable to repeat the result. Apple has not yet commented on this feature.
