The Xiaomi company has started accepting pre-orders for the new generation robot vacuum cleaner — Mijia Sweeping and Mopping Robot 5, according to the Rozetked.me website.
The new model features a 7.9 cm ultra-thin body, an AI-based obstacle detection system, and the ability to overcome obstacles up to 40 mm high. The device can detect 130 types of common obstacles — for example, socks or slippers.
The robot has a suction power of 23,000 Pa and, thanks to its special dual-blade brush, prevents hair or threads from getting tangled. It is also equipped with a wet cleaning function that imitates manual floor cleaning.
The device is controlled via the Mijia app, where the user can set a cleaning schedule, configure restricted zones, and connect it with other Xiaomi “smart home” devices.
Pre-orders for the new Mijia Sweeping and Mopping Robot 5 started in China at a price of 3,199 yuan (≈36.4 million UZS).
