Instagram has launched a new Watch History feature that allows you to view all previously watched Reels. This was announced by the head of the platform, Adam Mosseri.
The section is available in the "Profile" → "Settings" → "Your Activity" → "Watch History" menu. Users can sort the list by date, range, or author, as well as remove individual videos from history.
Previously, to find a lost video, for example, it was necessary to download account information or search for favorite content and manually search for the desired file.
A similar feature has been on TikTok for several years, but Instagram offers more flexibility: you can choose the order of display - from new to old or vice versa. The platform also now allows you to edit stories using AI.
