Presented glasses that convert regular video to 3D format

Xreal has introduced a new generation of AR glasses - the Xreal 1S. The biggest innovation of this device is that it instantly converts a regular 2D video into a 3D form, which opens up new possibilities for video creators and players.

The Xreal 1S weighs 82 grams and features two OLED screens developed by Sony. The screen image is clear and distinct, and the refresh rate reaches up to 120 Hz. The speed in 2D video to 3D conversion mode is 30 Hz, but this allows the eye to always rest, as it does not tire the eye.

In this model, the screen does not shift depending on the movement of the head. In addition, glasses also control light: there is a choice between intense light or a dark environment.

The second innovation of the Xreal company is the Xreal Neo. This is a 10,000 mAh powerbank for AR-glasses. It serves to transmit video to glasses and charge the phone. It can also function as a docking station for the Nintendo Switch.

Prices are:

  • Chreal 1S - 67,980 yen. Pre-orders began to be accepted in Japan.
  • Chreal Neo - 14,580 yen. Trading will begin at the end of January.

These innovations are the beginning of a new era of AR and 3D videos, allowing us to improve our real-time viewing experience.
