OpenAI rolls out updated GPT-5.3 Instant model

OpenAI announced on Tuesday the release of GPT-5.3 Instant, an update to ChatGPT's most-used model. The company claims that this version makes the AI less "cringe," adds more context to search results, and offers improved language processing capabilities.

GPT-5.3 Instant delivers more accurate answers, richer results when searching the web, and reduces unnecessary dead ends and overly declarative phrasing that can interrupt the flow of conversation. OpenAI added that the update focuses on the parts of the experience people feel every day: tone, relevance, and conversational flow.
