Apple is preparing to update its popular line of iMac computers. According to Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman, the next generation of all-in-one desktops will go on sale by the end of 2026. Technically, the new iMac models are expected to be equipped with Apple's latest processors. Experts predict that the device will run on an M5 or M6 chip. Since the M6 chip itself is expected to debut in the second half of 2026, the new computers could see a major performance boost. It is worth noting that the M4-chipped iMac models released in 2024 were available in seven colors.
Furthermore, Apple plans to introduce innovative technologies into its manufacturing process. Specifically, the company intends to 3D print aluminum casings for future Apple Watch and iPhone devices. This technology will help improve production efficiency and save resources. Apple is also actively working on expanding its premium Ultra device lineup.
