Apple may launch budget-friendly Mac Neo

Apple is reportedly developing a budget-friendly mini PC called the Mac Neo, designed for basic daily tasks and mass-market appeal. According to MyDrivers, this device will serve as a simplified alternative to the existing Mac mini. Reports Gazeta.press.
The compact computer is expected to be powered by the Apple A19 Pro chip, the same processor slated for the iPhone 17 Pro, paired with 12 GB of RAM. To keep costs low, the device may feature a silver plastic chassis similar in size to the Apple TV 4K.
In terms of connectivity, the Mac Neo will likely include two USB-C ports with speeds up to 10 Gbps and maintain a low power consumption of approximately 35W. The estimated starting price is around 2,299 yuan, making it significantly cheaper than the M-series Mac mini.
Rumors also suggest that Apple might expand this budget line next year with the release of a MacBook Neo 2, which would share the same A19 Pro chip and memory specifications.
