Audio and video calling features have been launched on the Russian app "Looky", which is considered an alternative to "Instagram". The new tool is integrated into the service's messenger, allowing users to communicate without switching to other applications. Ixbt.com reports on this.
The developers emphasized that a VPN connection is not required for calls. It was stated that the service works from anywhere in the world without any additional restrictions.
"Looky" technical director Aleksandr Larionov stated that the messenger's capabilities will be further expanded in the future. According to the plan, voice and video messages, group video calls, and channels linked to authors' profiles will be added to the application in the near future.
