The standard retail price for this device is approximately 350 dollars. On the same shelf, there was another significantly discounted processor, the Ryzen 5 7600X.
It was being sold for just 75 dollars instead of the standard 185 dollars. As a result, both processors cost the buyer approximately 220 dollars.
According to the description, this was not a mass promotion, but rather a local clearance process for remaining stock at a specific store. The author of the report noted that they regularly check local retail outlets to find such discounted goods.
