Samsung officially releases One UI 8.5 update

After six months of beta testing, Samsung has officially announced the One UI 8.5 update. The new software was first released for Galaxy S25, Galaxy Z Fold7, and Galaxy Z Flip7 users in South Korea. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
According to the company, the global rollout will begin on May 11. The update will be carried out in stages, initially reaching users in Europe, Hong Kong, India, Latin America, North America, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan.
The first wave will include flagship devices released in 2024 and later, including the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, as well as the Galaxy Tab S10 and Tab S11 tablets. Although Samsung has not yet disclosed the full list, it confirmed that mid-range models such as the Galaxy A56, A55, and A36 will also receive the new system in the future.
Samsung also announced that it will soon release the affordable Galaxy A27 smartphone, which features a design similar to the Galaxy S26. The update provides users with system stability and access to new features.
