This result exceeded even the forecasts of many analysts. Previously, TrendForce experts predicted that selling 5 million MacBook Neo units would allow the model to capture 10% of the $600-$800 laptop market. If Apple's new plan succeeds, the company could own 20% of this segment.
The success of the MacBook Neo in the market is undeniable. At the same time, competitors are not standing still. In particular, Microsoft commissioned a special report from the Signal65 agency, which highlights that affordable laptops running Windows 11 may be superior to the MacBook Neo in certain aspects.
