Home Appliance Market in Russia: Biryusa and Indesit Manufacturers Achieve Growth

The revenue of home appliance manufacturers in Russia for 2025 decreased by 11.6 percent, totaling 209.2 billion rubles. Analysts attribute this decline to a drop in overall demand and a shrinking market. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
The largest manufacturers in the market include companies producing appliances under the Haier, LG, Beko, Indesit, Hotpoint, and Biryusa brands. Nevertheless, only two enterprises — the Lipetsk plant, which produces Indesit, Hotpoint, and Stinol appliances, and the local Biryusa brand — recorded growth figures.
Conversely, Beko's Russian division lost nearly 35 percent of its revenue. Experts believe that the Biryusa plant is gaining a competitive advantage due to the absence of customs duties and its strategy focused on the budget refrigerator segment.
The downward trend in the market is also linked to business restructuring and changes in sales schemes. Following the departure of foreign brands, a large portion of appliances is being sold through local distributors. Despite this, experts expect a gradual recovery in the home appliance market in 2026.
