Synology has officially introduced two new surveillance cameras equipped with AI capabilities: the BC510 and TC510 models. These devices combine high-quality imaging with advanced analytical functions, designed to take security systems to a new level. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
The new cameras are protected against dust and water according to IP66 and IP67 standards. They are capable of recording 2880 x 1620 pixel images at 30 frames per second. Additionally, a 110-degree wide-angle lens and a night vision mode effective up to 30 meters ensure clear images in any conditions.
The devices are equipped with Edge AI technology, which processes tasks such as counting pedestrians and vehicles, as well as detecting unauthorized entry, directly on the device itself. This reduces server load and increases response speed.
Synology aims to seamlessly integrate these cameras with its existing surveillance systems, data storage, and cloud services. Furthermore, using standard network protocols, these models can also work easily with third-party software.
