Spotify is becoming a hub for AI-generated personal podcasts

In recent years, apps like Google’s NotebookLM, Hero, and Adobe Acrobat have allowed users to create podcasts based on documents, daily plans, and articles. Now, Spotify is also offering the ability to listen to this content on its platform, though it requires the use of specific programming tools. This is reported by Techcrunch.com reports .
According to the company, if a user utilizes tools like OpenAI’s Codex, Anthropic’s Claude Code, or OpenClaw, they can create a podcast via Spotify’s new beta CLI tool and upload it to Spotify for later listening. This feature allows users to shape personal audio content using their own AI agents.
Created podcasts are stored only in the user's personal library and will not be accessible to other Spotify users. To use this feature, users must follow the instructions on the GitHub page and log in to their Spotify accounts via a browser.
Users can create audio sessions by giving specific prompts to the AI, such as the history of the FIFA World Cup or their daily schedules. Once the process is complete, the user receives a special link for their podcast on Spotify.
