Construction of SpaceX's giant Gigabay complexes continues

SpaceX is actively continuing the construction of giant complexes named Gigabay, designed for the production and modernization of Starship spacecraft. Currently, the company is building two large assembly plants simultaneously: one at the Starbase site in Texas, and the other located in the Roberts Road area in Florida. Reports Ixbt.com.
Recently released photos show the construction process of the facility in Florida. Cranes are installed, walls and columns are being erected, and building claddings are being mounted. Both facilities are planned to be operational by the end of 2026.
The scale of the Gigabay complexes is impressive: the height is 116 meters, the length is 110 meters, and the width is 130 meters. These buildings, with a total useful area of about 75,700 square meters, provide production capacity 11 times larger than existing Mega Bay complexes.
According to Elon Musk, this is one of the largest facilities in the world, designed to produce a thousand Starship ships per year. The company aims to conduct Starship flights more than once per hour by 2029.
