New aviation navigation notices have been issued, indicating that the launch window for the Starship Flight 12 mission is expected to change. According to reports, the rocket launch will not take place before 03:30 Tashkent time (01:30 Moscow time) on May 20. It is also noted that backup dates may extend until May 22, although SpaceX has not yet issued an official statement regarding these changes. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports.
Yesterday, May 11, SpaceX successfully completed a "Wet Dress Rehearsal" for Starship Flight 12 at Pad 2 of the Starbase spaceport. This process is the final complex pre-flight test of the rocket and ground systems, which includes fully fueling the tanks and simulating the countdown process.
Experts completed the fueling process for the Booster 19 and Ship 39 systems in just 30 minutes. Previously, SpaceX had successfully tested the 33 engines of the Super Heavy rocket. All technical checks are complete, and the company is preparing for the next historic flight.
