Huawei has officially announced that the HarmonyOS 6 operating system has been installed on over 60 million devices. This figure, previously estimated by industry analysts, has now been confirmed by the company. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
Huawei representatives noted that the ecosystem's growth rate has accelerated significantly. Specifically, HarmonyOS 5 and 6 versions are being activated on over 7.5 million new devices each month. According to the company's internal plans, the number of devices on this platform is expected to reach 100 million by the end of the year, further strengthening Huawei's position in the mobile operating system market.
At the same time, the company has begun rolling out the HarmonyOS 6.1 update. This update includes new tools for gallery management, a special tablet mode for foldable devices, and features such as a game assistant.
In the future, Huawei plans to introduce HarmonyOS 7.0. It is expected to feature deeper integration of artificial intelligence capabilities and a redesigned user interface.
