Redmi is preparing to launch its new Redmi Turbo 5 smartphone for the global market. The first teasers appearing online indicate that the device will be unveiled soon. A page that appeared on the Amazon India platform with a "coming soon" status confirms the smartphone's arrival in the Indian market. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
Interestingly, alternative versions of the Redmi Turbo 5 model are also available under the names Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max. Experts believe that the company aims to reach a global audience by selling identical devices under different names.
The smartphone is technically very advanced: a 6.59-inch OLED display offers 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The device is equipped with a Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor, Android 16 operating system, and the HyperOS 3 interface.
The battery capacity is 7560 mAh, supporting 100W wired and 27W wireless charging. Additionally, the model features an IP68/IP69 protection standard, a metal body, and a high-quality camera system.
