Insider Abhishek Yadav has revealed the full technical specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Max flagship. The official presentation of this model is expected to take place by the end of this month, and the device will also be released on the global market. The Xiaomi 17 Max will become one of the most powerful and largest-format smartphones in its series. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
The device will be equipped with a 6.9-inch flat OLED screen with 2K resolution. The peak brightness of the display reaches 3800 nits, and 3840 Hz PWM dimming technology prevents eye strain. Dragon Crystal Glass 3.0 is used for screen protection.
The heart of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which will compete with flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The device supports an 8000 mAh battery, 100W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging technology.
The camera system was developed in collaboration with Leica and includes a 200 MP main sensor, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50 MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom. The front camera captures images at 32 MP resolution.
The device is equipped with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an infrared port, stereo speakers, and an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The smartphone also features IP68 water and dust resistance.
