China's Kinetica-1 rocket launches five satellites into orbit

CAS Space has successfully launched five satellites into orbit using the Kinetica-1 (Lijian-1) carrier rocket. The launch took place at 12:33 Beijing time from the commercial pad at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. This is reported by Ixbt.com .

The Taizhin-3 (two units), Tianyi-50, Tianyan-27, and Jilin-1 satellites were delivered to orbit. The Kinetica-1 rocket is a four-stage solid-fuel system, 31 meters long, capable of carrying up to 2 tons of payload into low Earth orbit.

This flight marks the 13th mission for Kinetica-1 and its second successful launch in 2026. China's commercial space industry is developing rapidly, expanding its constellation of communication, surveillance, and navigation satellites.

The country is accelerating its pace of space launches, setting a new record of 92 launches in 2025. Simultaneously, China is supporting long-term programs for lunar, asteroid, and Mars exploration, as well as the operation of an orbital station open for international cooperation.
