The Tashkent Regional Governor has adopted a resolution to reduce the speed of vehicles outside certain residential areas.

It is noted that this is aimed at preventing traffic accidents on roads in the regions and reducing the speed of vehicles outside certain residential areas.

The resolution of the governor approved the proposal of the Tashkent Regional Traffic Department to reduce the speed of vehicles outside certain residential areas on 37 road sections located in the region from 100 kilometers per hour to 80 kilometers per hour.

The General Administration of Regional Highways was instructed to install 3.24 "high speed limited" road signs on public highways located outside the areas where the speed of vehicles is reduced within five days based on the current requirements.

The province has been designated personally responsible for the control of speed-limited vehicles outside the residential areas where the speed limit is being reduced.
