Uzbekistan is participating in the third international climate competition "Green Eurasia". This was reported by the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
The acceptance of applications for the third international climate competition "Green Eurasia", held in cooperation with the EEC and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives for the Promotion of New Projects, has been completed.
It is noted that documents have been received from all five states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), as well as from the EAEU's main trading partners, such as China, India, Iran and Uzbekistan.
In addition, applications were submitted by representatives of South Africa, Ethiopia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Tajikistan and Senegal, which significantly expanded the geography of the competition.
“I would also like to note the qualitative improvement in the number of applications received this year. It will not be easy for specialists and the competition presidium to choose the best: almost all projects are worthy of competing for the top places and gaining global recognition,” said Andrey Slepnyov, Minister of Trade of the EIC.
The awarding ceremony of the winners and prize-winners of the competition and the presentation of their projects will be held within the framework of the Minsk Eurasian Economic Forum.
It should be recalled that applications for participation in the III International Climate Competition “Green Eurasia” began in February.
The competition is aimed at identifying and supporting innovative solutions in the field of sustainable development and environmental protection, as well as developing cooperation between large companies and organizations interested in the introduction of environmentally friendly technologies.
