Another important step aimed at promoting Uzbekistan's tourism on the international stage was taken at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuwait. This week, an official meeting was held at the embassy with the participation of one of Kuwait's prominent media figures, blogger Abdulkarim Al-Hindal, and the executive director of the travel company “Unique Travel,” Suad Al-Mahri.
The key moment of the event was the ceremonial presentation of a certificate officially appointing Abdulkarim Al-Hindal as Uzbekistan’s tourism ambassador in Kuwait.
In his speech, Abdulkarim Al-Hindal expressed sincere gratitude to the government of Uzbekistan and the embassy for their trust, stating that he now considers it his personal duty to widely promote the rich history, culture, and tourism potential of Uzbekistan in Kuwait and other Arab countries.
— My trips to Uzbekistan left unforgettable impressions. The heritage of cities like Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, the warmth of your people, and the unique taste of Uzbek cuisine won my heart. Pilaf, tea traditions, the national atmosphere — all these are attractive elements for tourists. I will strive to fulfill this responsible mission to the fullest, — said Abdulkarim Al-Hindal.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed areas for future cooperation. In particular, they reached agreements on promoting Uzbekistan's tourism brand in Kuwait, launching tourism projects, publishing articles and reports about Uzbekistan in leading local and international media, and organizing special presentations.
This initiative will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening Uzbekistan's position on the global tourism map. It is expected that the country’s tourism image in the Arab world will become even brighter and more influential.
