Our pilgrims begin returning home: direct flights underway
Starting from June 12 of this year, our compatriots who have completed the blessed journey — the Hajj pilgrimage — are beginning to return from Saudi Arabia to their homeland. This was officially reported by the Press Service of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan.

It was announced that the pilgrims will return via direct flights from Jeddah International Airport to ten cities across the country — Tashkent, Bukhara, Namangan, Fergana, Samarkand, Karshi, Termez, Urgench, Navoi, and Nukus.

Modern and comfortable aircraft of the national airline “Uzbekistan Airways” have been allocated for transportation. The flights are being conducted safely and smoothly, accompanied by experienced pilots and qualified flight attendants.

Every year, the Hajj is a great blessing eagerly awaited by thousands of our Muslims, and it is often a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. After successfully performing the rituals of Hajj, the safe and healthy return of our citizens remains one of the main responsibilities of the relevant authorities.

It is worth noting that this year’s Hajj season is taking place with a high level of organization worldwide. All necessary conditions have been created for Uzbek pilgrims — from medical services to transportation and food supply, everything is ensured at a high standard.

It brings us joy that our compatriots are returning peacefully and safely. Upon their arrival, they bring spiritual strength and moral support to their families, neighborhoods, and communities.
