Scorching heat is gradually entering the territory of Uzbekistan. According to the latest information published by the "Uzhydromet" service, on Sunday, June 23, the air temperature is expected to rise sharply throughout the country. At the beginning of the week, the daily temperature may reach up to +44°C in some regions.

In Tashkent, the weather will be mostly partly cloudy, with no precipitation expected. The sun will shine brightly over the capital. Wind will blow from the east at a speed of 3–8 m/s. Dust storm risk in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm
In the northern regions — the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region — the weather will be partly cloudy and variable. No precipitation is expected, but due to increased wind, dust storms may occur in some places. Wind speed will be 13–18 m/s, and up to 20–22 m/s in certain areas. Temperature at night will be +20…+25°, and during the day — +32…+37°, on the Ustyurt plateau — +27…+32°.

Heat peaks in Bukhara and Navoi

Thunderstorm chances in Fergana Valley
In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, the weather will be partly cloudy, but nighttime and morning thunderstorms and rain are possible in some foothill areas. Daytime temperatures will be around +35…+40°. Easterly wind is expected at 5–10 m/s.

Cooler in mountain areas, but stay alert

A warning has also been issued for June 22 regarding potential mudflows and floods in the foothill and mountainous areas of Tashkent, Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions. Residents near mountain slopes are advised to take precautions.
