International Tashkent now operated by Azimut

The famous five-star hotel International Tashkent, located in Tashkent, is now managed by the Russian company Azimut Hotels. This was reported by Kursiv.media.

The hotel began operations in 1997 under the InterContinental brand and was under international management until 2012. After that, it ceased its operations.

In November 2024, the building was purchased by the company Smart Fast Stroy for $26 million and became private property.

The hotel will now operate under the name Azimut Grand Hotel Tashkent. Notably, this will be the first premium hotel under the Azimut Hotels brand to open in Central Asia.

For reference: Azimut Hotels was founded in 2004 and currently manages 39 hotels in Russia, Germany, Austria, and Israel. The new project in Tashkent is considered a major step in the international brand’s regional development. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
